Today we went to downtown Kanazawa to see the Hyakumangoku Matsuri (Festival). It took place through the streets of downtown Kanazawa and near Kanazawa Castle and Kenroku-en Garden.

A nice tour guide gave us a tour around the garden, but I felt really bad for her because we kept making her wait forever to take photos and for one of the KIT students to attempt to translate what she was saying for us.
Afterwards, we watched the parade for the Hyakumangoku Parade.

I missed some of the more awesome samurai at the end because my camera ran out of batteries. After, we came back to Nishikawa Heights, bought some beer and such and had a little party with the Students for Global Exchange who arranged the field trip for us.
