Nishikawa Heights

I took some pictures around our building today:

There's a small park near our building and near the river:

There were some signs telling the children to be careful near the water:

"Small children shouldn't play near the river alone."

I like this sign way better though:

"When the water is high, don't play near the river"

From the front of our building, this is the view:

And the back:

Out the back you can see the river behind my apartment, and the KIT library and a lot of the other buildings. The library (tall one) has a really interesting aesthetic.

In the first floor lobby there's a vending machine for Boss Coffee which has an ad with Tommy Lee Jones on the front:

Some of the other students saw ads on television, and they said that Tommy Lee Jones was an alien attacking or something, and they were pretty funny.

Lots of bicycles and scooters around

Later we're taking a field trip to Kanazawa Castle and the Kenroku-en Gardens outside of it. There's a festival going on all weekend.
