Today was the 4th of July, and despite being in Japan, any excuse to party is a good excuse. In school we had some final exams for our language classes that are now pretty much over, and then after that we had a party at Nishikawa Heights with the Students for Global Exchange KIT students.
Also, we bought some fireworks at the convenience store:

Then after we cooked food and hung out here for awhile, we got ready to go to the sea. The SGE students arranged for about 10 or so people to bring their cars to Nishikawa Heights and drive us to the sea. I have no idea how they managed to get so many people to help us out, it was incredibly nice of them. At the beach we just went crazy with fireworks, and some of us swam in the sea.

After a few hours we came back and hung out in the lounges until really late, partying and learning Japanese from the SGE students.
