Went to Osaka today, it was pretty neat. They had a ton ton ton of shopping. First we went to America Mura, which had all kinds of American style clothing.

Near America Mura in Osaka
Used clothing is pretty popular, and there was even a shop that had all kinds of crazy used vintage american clothes. We saw everything from Lionel Richie shirts to Yo Quiero Taco Bell ones. I bought some shirts with some really stupid english on them. After that, we found some really big covered shopping streets, and stopped for some coffee, and then food. Chris went to an all you can eat sushi place and pounded down a ton of fish. I found a cheap tempura place and had some good eats.

Then, we wandered over to the electronics district, but unfortunately all we really found in the short time we spent there was a big computer nerd store, and a bunch of anime nerd stores, so that was pretty lame. We decided to come back early because we weren't sure when the last train from Osaka back to Kyoto was. Then we went out for some okonomiyaki again at the place we liked yesterday. Afterwards we wandered around and got lost in the city looking for a good bar, but we had fun just walking around. Some cool stuff we saw:

Ridiculous Arcades

Hello Kitty store

Yabuki Joe action figures (my Japan nickname)

We went back to Kyoto for the night because our hotel is there. Tomorrow we go back to Kanazawa.
