Lazy Day

Today we didn't have a ton of class, we only had a final for our Japanese for Science and Technology class that lasted about an hour, and then we just hung out until the second class started, which was our project class. I mostly just caught up on things I wanted to do. For example, I have a notebook that I've been carrying with me almost the whole time I've been here that I just write down words I hear in so I can remember them. I'm in the middle of typing it up on the computer and checking with a dictionary, but there's a ton of words. It's a just a mini little notebook, but it's almost full at this point.

For project class, me and my partner mostly fledged out our part of the Rube Goldberg machine. Our part is pretty simple, but it seems to work rather reliably. But both the other groups in our team had such ambitious ideas that I'm not sure if we can pull them off. But we'll definitely try.

After class, we ate at Hige Cho again, and then went back to hang out in the lounge for the rest of the night. The biggest event there was that everyone was picking on one of the two Japanese-American students that came on this trip. She's really shy, so they like to say things to embarrass her, and made up a points-based game around how much they could embarrass her. The Japanese guys also really like her, so there was a bunch of them in the lounge joking about wanting to marry her and such. But I had to sleep eventually.
