Gettin' Lost in Nonoichi

Today after class, I wanted to go back to the electronics store to get a case for my camera. Class went late today because we were working on finalizing our Rube Goldberg machines (they are finally all connected, but more fixes need to happen) and the corresponding posters, but the Nonoichi town bus runs decently late. When we got to the electronics store, I took a long time looking at the cases, making sure my camera would fit, and trying to find a case that was worth the money. All the camera manufacturer produced cases were really expensive, so I bought a cheap no-name one. It's not my favorite in the world, but if it keeps my camera from getting dinged up, I'm all for it.

But I took so long looking for one that we barely caught the last bus. The other problem was our stop was further than the final stop, so we got dropped off in an area we didn't really know. We ended up near a MacDonald's, so Pei and David wanted to go. I didn't get anything because I kind of hate fast food. Afterwards we also went to the Book-Off store, which also sells CDs, DVDs, anime, new and old games and systems (including some pretty old/rare stuff like the 3DO), and even clothes.

It was too late to really spend any time looking, but David wanted to stay later because he was looking for a bible or something, I don't know what he was talking about. We told him which direction he should head in to get back to campus, but while it took me and Pei maybe 20 min to walk back, David managed to basically walk in a half circle around campus, and it took him maybe 40 min.

After that I talked with my partner about the culture presentation, and I tried to go to Hige Cho, but it closed 5 min before I got there. It was also my turn to clean this week, and unfortunately I had to clean the lounge that everyone parties in, and whoever was supposed to clean it last week did not. Oh well, it's clean now.
