Projects

Guitar Hero: On Tour

Guitar Hero: On TourDuring the summer and fall of 2007 I worked at Activision's Vicarious Visions studio in Albany, NY developing Guitar Hero: On Tour for the Nintendo DS.

This title will have more than 20 songs, it's own peripheral entitled the "Guitar Grip," and also a guitar-pick shaped stylus.

SVG Projects Site

For my client side scripting class, we learned a lot about JavaScript, but my professor was also really into Scalable Vector Graphics.

So for the SVG project we did, I took my Flash Projects Site and converted it to use SVG.

Towerpocalypse

Towerpocalypse Towerpocalypse is a 3D castle defense game in DirectX using C++ with castle upgrades, special weapons, and a relentless onslaught of enemies attempting to destroy your castle.

Tortoise Control

So our 2D Graphics Programming game is all done, and I gotta say I'm real happy with how it came out. It's a 2D side-scrolling beat 'em up featuring our main character, Taj, your everyday karate-loving tortoise. Join him on his adventure fighting Pygmys and a boss that looks like a scary version of the stay-puft marshmallow man.

Flash Projects Site

Flash Projects SiteAfter I had a good amount of experience with flash from a class or two, I decided to make a flash site that showed off all the projects I had made.

I knew that the site would have to be easy for me to update because I was usually too busy with classes, so I didn't want to have to open up Flash every time I created a new project to update the site.

Brethren of the Coast

Brethren of the Coast, a networked multiplayer RTS-style 18th century pirate ship adventure in Director + Flash.

Players use a fleet of ships complete with cannons to capture territories and eliminate other ships to ultimately conquer the game world.

Currently not playable, I have no Flash communication server.

Paint

PaintThe vehicles in this movie are based Braitenberg's Vehicles #1-3b, and react to the lights on the stage by turning and varying speed.

The lights are draggable around the stage, and clicking on a vehicle removes it from the stage.

Snow Wars

One of the earliest games I made was for Interactive Digital Media.  I had to make a flash game with an intended audience of 9 to 13 year old girls.

In this project entitled "Snow Wars", you're fighting for your life in a snow ball battle against your brother and his friends.  There's multiple levels with increasing difficulty.
